Michelin Power Supermoto - First-class drifting on asphalt. Smooth carcass for optimal response to changing coverings.
Both Supermoto tires use the soft rubber compound of the Michelin slicks, which is suitable for a wide variety of racetracks.
The extremely supple carcass has three advantages: Firstly, the rubber compound reaches its operating temperature faster, thus improving the grip during acceleration and cornering. Second, it allows the tire to respond optimally to changes in the subsurface, and thirdly, it affects the phenomenon of "chattering" high skew position.
The wide profileless tire shoulders of the rear wheel ensure a carefree drifting behavior on asphalt. For good traction and improved braking on earth sections, the transverse grooves in the tread center of the tires are responsible.
The regrooving marks allow the Supermoto driver to optimize the tires according to the desired performance, personal driving style and condition of the track.
